University of Wollongong
The University of Wollongong is searching for a Vice-President, Indigenous Strategy and Engagement, to help shape Indigenous outcomes across the institution.
The role will lead the university’s Indigenous strategy, engagement and partnerships, working across teaching, research and community programs. The position sits within UOW’s executive leadership team and comes as universities face growing expectations around Indigenous participation, representation and reconciliation.
The job advertisement says the university is looking for a leader who can drive meaningful change and build strong relationships across communities, government and the higher education sector.

Ocius Technology
The company behind the autonomous Bluebottle vessel is looking for a Chief Delivery Officer as it ramps up production following a major Australian Government defence contract.
While now based in Sydney, Ocius Technology retains strong ties to the Illawarra-Shoalhaven, where founder and CEO Robert Dane first tested the solar, wind and wave-powered Bluebottle vessels. Earlier this year, the Federal Government announced a $176 million program to acquire the technology, with Ocius highlighting a supply chain that stretches from the Hunter to Ulladulla.
The new executive will oversee the delivery of Defence and maritime capability programs, managing projects, contracts and customer relationships as the company enters what it describes as a pivotal growth phase.
Ocius says it is seeking a senior leader with experience delivering complex programs in defence, maritime, aerospace or advanced manufacturing environments. Experience with Defence procurement and contracting frameworks will be highly regarded.

Australian Taxation Office
The Australian Taxation Office is looking for Intelligence Directors, with the role available in Wollongong.
The senior positions sit within the ATO’s Compliance and Engagement Group and will lead intelligence activities that support compliance, risk management and government priorities. Successful candidates will oversee the collection, analysis, and application of intelligence to inform decision-making across tax and superannuation matters.
The roles involve providing intelligence advice to senior executives and ministers, contributing to strategic briefings and leading teams of analysts and managers in complex operating environments.

St George Illawarra Dragons
The St George Illawarra Dragons are looking for a senior commercial leader to drive partnerships, sponsorships and fundraising as the club settles into the Bruce Gordon Centre at the University of Wollongong’s Innovation Campus.
Working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, the role will focus on securing new business, managing major partners and developing new revenue streams across commercial and philanthropic programs. The successful candidate will also oversee corporate networking initiatives, coterie programs and high-value donor relationships.
The club is seeking an experienced sales and partnerships executive with a track record of securing major commercial deals, building long-term relationships and leading high-performing teams.

Community Gateway
Community Gateway is recruiting a General Manager Corporate Services to oversee the organisation’s finance, commercial and information technology functions.
The role is responsible for financial management, corporate governance, risk, supplier relationships and IT systems, while also providing strategic advice to the board and executive team. The successful candidate will lead a team of five and play a key role in ensuring the long-term sustainability of the Illawarra-based aged care and disability services provider.
The job advertisement says Community Gateway is seeking a qualified CPA, CA or IPA with at least five years’ senior management experience, strong financial and systems expertise and a track record of improving business efficiency.
Community Gateway has been operating for more than 35 years and provides aged care and disability services across the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, South East Sydney and Mid North Coast regions.

St John Ambulance NSW
St John Ambulance NSW is searching for a new Chief Executive Officer to lead one of the state’s largest volunteer-based community organisations.
Reporting to the board, the CEO will oversee an organisation of more than 2,500 volunteers and 300 staff delivering first aid, community health and emergency support services across New South Wales. The role will focus on strengthening relationships with government and emergency service partners, growing community engagement and ensuring the organisation’s long-term sustainability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organisation through its next phase of growth while balancing its charitable purpose with its commercial operations, including first aid training and community health services.
The job advertisement says St John Ambulance NSW is seeking an experienced executive with strong strategic and commercial skills, with leadership experience in community, health, government-related or emergency services environments highly regarded.

Premier’s Department
The NSW Premier’s Department is recruiting an Executive Director, Return to Work Delivery to lead the implementation of the government’s Return-to-Work Strategy across the public sector.
The Senior Executive Band 2 role will oversee a whole-of-government reform program aimed at improving return-to-work outcomes for public sector employees. Working from the centre of government, the successful candidate will partner with senior leaders across agencies to address cultural and system barriers, drive performance and deliver long-term change.
Reporting within the Corporate Services Group, the Executive Director will lead a dedicated team and use data and insights to shape strategy, manage risk and improve outcomes across the state’s workforce.
The job advertisement says the department is seeking an experienced executive with a track record of leading large-scale reform, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering complex programs across multiple organisations.

Randwick City Council
If you’ve ever wondered who gets paid to make a place more interesting, Randwick City Council is recruiting a Head of Vibrancy and Place.
The role leads placemaking, activations, business engagement and economic development initiatives aimed at boosting Randwick’s town centres, visitor economy and night-time activity.
Reporting to the Manager, Economic Development and Placemaking, the successful candidate will oversee a team delivering events, partnerships, and programs designed to attract visitors, encourage investment, and support local businesses.
The council is looking for someone with experience in placemaking, economic development, events or marketing, with a strong understanding of the 24-hour economy and place-based activation.

During a World Cup year, Football Australia is looking for a Head of Partnerships to oversee its commercial partner portfolio across national teams, domestic competitions and grassroots programs.
The senior role is responsible for managing and retaining key sponsors, delivering partnership agreements and identifying opportunities to grow revenue from existing commercial relationships. The successful candidate will also lead the organisation’s partnerships team and serve as the senior relationship manager for principal and Tier 1 partners.
