The Property Council of Australia has appointed Matthew Wales as Regional Director for Illawarra Shoalhaven, signalling a renewed focus on infrastructure, housing, and economic reform across one of the state's fastest-growing regions.

Mr Wales (pictured above) brings extensive public policy experience to the role, having served as an advisor to the Federal Treasury and the Hong Kong Government. Most recently, he led the Property Council’s national agenda on taxation and foreign investment within its Capital Markets Division.
